I didn't create this because I had everything figured out. I created it because I didn't.
For years I built a life that looked exactly right. Senior career in advertising, London, successful by every measure that seemed to matter. And quietly, persistently, I felt like I was performing a version of myself that made sense to everyone else but wasn't quite true.
